FIJI

WAVE YOGA RETREAT

OCTOBER 12-18, 2025

AWAKEN YOUR SPIRIT IN FIJI

7 Days of Tranquility, Nature, and Yoga in Fiji

Join Megan Mulrine and Julia Morrison on a journey of the soul

We’re going to Fiji!

Join us in tropical paradise for a 7-day all-inclusive yoga retreat on the remote island of Vanua Levu, Fiji—an untouched haven of rainforest, reef, and rhythm. This is your invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and return to yourself. Tucked between the rainforest and the sea, our private beachfront resort offers the perfect balance of barefoot luxury and wild nature. Here, we reconnect with what it means to be present—moving together, resting deeply, and sharing in the richness of Fijian culture and landscape.

Enjoy twice daily yoga, one spa treatment of your choice, paddle boarding, snorkeling along the vibrant untouched coral of Rainbow Reef, kayaking, traditional Fijian ceremonies, and so much more. We’ll dive into the heart of yoga to deepen your personal practice through workshops, meditation, and thoughtful discussions. As always, every offering is optional. Whether you crave stillness or movement, solitude or community, you shape your own experience.

Nestled in the untouched paradise of Vanua Levu, Fiji, our exclusive luxury resort is fully remote and only accessible by boat. This lush remote island offers a unique blend of tropical rainforest, crystal-clear lagoons, and pristine beaches, making it an idyllic destination for nature lovers and those seeking serenity. Unlike the more tourist-heavy islands, Vanua Levu remains relatively undeveloped, preserving its authentic Fijian culture and natural landscapes. The island is home to vibrant coral reefs, cascading waterfalls, and rich biodiversity, offering abundant opportunities for exploration and adventure. With its slow pace of life and warm, welcoming communities, Vanua Levu provides a peaceful and immersive escape into the heart of Fiji’s natural wonders.

WHAT TO EXPECT : The Retreat

Our retreat center is hidden in the palm trees on a remote peninsula of Vanua Levu, one of the Fiji Islands. Here’s what to expect:

DAILY YOGA
  • Experience daily yoga, meditation, and spiritual ceremonies overlooking the ocean. With a combination of faster-flowing vinyasa and slow, restorative yoga, these optional practices will bring peace to body, mind, and spirit
  • We’ll also offer workshops throughout the week to help deepen your spiritual practice, connect to your highest self, and find comfort in community
  • All yoga classes will be all-levels and for all-bodies. Come exactly as you are: you are already enough.
CULTURAL IMMERSION
  • Fiji offers an incredible landscape of not only natural beauty, but also soul-expanding cultural magic
  • We’ll experience traditional Fijian dances and ceremonies, performed on the beach with the back-drop of the sea and mountainous islands
  • We’ll visit a local village, and learn how the local cuisine utilizes the lushness of Fiji’s natural vegetation
NATURE ADVENTURES
  • Vanua Levu, the second largest island in Fiji, is home to the Rainbow Reef, one of the most famous and most vibrant living reefs in the world. We’ll have the opportunity to not only snorkel with the diverse marine life, but also to paddleboard and kayak through the crystal clear water
  • If you’re feeling adventurous, we’ll also hike through the Fiji jungles, perhaps even spotting parrots, flying foxes, turtles, and iguanas
REST & RELAXATION
  • Most importantly, all activities, yoga classes, and excursions are entirely optional. If you choose to lay by the pool or dip in the ocean all day, we’ll celebrate and encourage you. Rest is so important!
  • We’ll also have opportunities for massages, naps in the sun, meditations, and total peace. If your style of vacation is to revive through relaxation, this retreat is perfect for you. You’ll return from this vacation feeling refreshed and renewed.

If you’d like to arrive early or stay longer at The Remote Resort, you’re welcome to book extra nights directly by emailing request@theremoteresort.com and let them know you’re part of the Wave Yoga Retreat.

Is alcohol permitted?

On our retreats, we embrace a spirit of balance, mindfulness, and respect for ourselves and one another. While we understand that some guests may wish to enjoy a drink during their stay, we kindly ask that alcohol be consumed in moderation and with intention. Our primary focus is on yoga, rest, and wellness — and as such, we encourage everyone to be mindful of how alcohol can affect your body, your practice, and the shared experience of the group. We ask that all guests indulge responsibly and remain considerate of others at all times. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM. After this time, we ask that noise be kept to a minimum, especially in shared villas and common areas. Please be respectful of your roommates and fellow guests who may be resting or seeking solitude. Let’s co-create a peaceful and rejuvenating environment for everyone.

Do you offer scholarships or work-trade opportunities?

We have a scholarship program to help make our experiences accessible. We have one scholarship available on each of our retreats. If cost is a significant barrier for you, or if the currency of your home country coverts unfavorably into USD, send us an email and we’ll reach out with details on how to apply.
